Mistake #1 was to take the slightly shorter route of Canadian #37. It is a much rougher and dirtier road but it is scenic Mistake #2 was to stop at a pullout next to a lake. Mistake #3 was to go outside to check over the RV and toad. Mistake #4 was to allow the hanger on mosquites to come in with U into the coach Mistake #5 was to forget to tighten (which I've found much later) the sewer drain access hole cover. It is especially important if U have a slide out over that area. Mistake #6 was to forget to bring a spare mosquite zapper in case the 1st one fail. Results: Literally hundreds of mosquitos inside. Zapper fails after the 1st hundred join their ancestors. The next hundred ditto with the hand clap. Part of the rest partially got locked out between the shower area and the BR. The remaining few dozen got locked into the bedroom where after nearly 2 hours of fighting them, I've doused myself w/deets, pull the cover over my head and went to bed. A word to the person w/the garlic solution. NO, garlic do not work. The smart mosquites? Instead of buzzing around, the smart ones hide behind curtains, uphostries and any cracks until lights are out before looking for their meal. Then the even smarter one start w/the lower extremities.

Oh, I feel your pain! LOL!!!

Been there, done that, only not in an RV! Can you imagine answering the call of nature without the convenience of indoor facilities such as can be found in an RV or camper?

You forgot that the really smart ones find the tiniest holes that can be used to access their victims! Here's a tip: When you have hundreds of mosquitoes in a small space, open a door or window and use a book or anything flat that can be converted into a fan. Wave the book vigorously to create a wind machine. Most of the mosquitoes will vacate the premises! The really smart ones that are hiding are then easier to rout out and squash.

Default disrespectful

How can you be so disrespectful of the Alaskan State Bird?

Some good meat on these things, if you're really handy with a fillet knife.

Default don't forget

Forget that ranching idea, Alaska won't go for farmed salmon so what makes you think they'll issue permits for mosquitos? Plenty of free-range, organic, wild-caught skeeters out there anyway...ten million dragonflies can't be wrong, can they?

Don't forget, mosquito bag limits may be quite liberal, but its a does-only hunt.
