Hoping someone could help me. My husband is up in Valdez staying at the man camp working for the refinery and he wants me to ship him some new socks as I guess they are pretty expensive and I am having trouble finding a address. He don't have any internet to look himself. If anyone could please help me, I would be so thankful. Have a great day!

He should be able to ask security or some other form of administrator for an address.

The man camp at the airport? I don't know what the address would be (everyone in town uses PO boxes - we don't have mailboxes here), but can't he ask someone else there or at work?

I can't imagine that it's so much more expensive to buy a few pairs at The Prospector that it's worth it to ship them though, really.

Thanks! I just called up there and got the address. Didn't think I could find a phone number and they have a PO box you have to mail stuff too. And that Prospector Outfitters was expensive. He said 2 pairs of socks for 15.00. I went ahead and shipped him up some from Kohls, found a good deal 6 in a pack x 3 packs and only cost me a total of 33.00 including shipping. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it's a sporting goods store, so they only sell good synthetic or wool socks (kinda assumed that's what he was looking for, since it's going to be cold soon). They have reasonable prices for that stuff, though. I don't know where you could even buy regular cotton socks here. Maybe at the hardware store. They sell linens, maybe they sell socks too. Glad you found what you were looking for.

I'm not sure if you are serious or being sarcastic. It is normally where all the men sleep while they are working in a location away from home, like barracks.
