Yes the person who confirmed Stevens was dead is now not sure if his source was correct. This is all pretty shocking.

Very sad, my condolences to all the families involved.

One downside to being a politician in Alaska is all the flying you're forced to do in nasty (unpredictable) weather in a mountainous terrain.

I, for one, hate flying. Truth be told, I'm scared sh*itless. If I were a politician in Alaska I'd seek out Lance Mackey to take me where I needed to go.
