I was thinking the same thing. But the OP could find a nice little dump in the bad part of town for that price.

Long time local in the area. My girlfriend got an inside deal, (Meaning a word of mouth through friends with recommendation) 1150 per month long term lease, for small (nice) 2 bedroom above a shop. You might find a deal after summer with long term lease. This town is more and more becoming a tourist town. Great place in a lot of ways.
