According to their "Travel Guide", it shows both Ketchikan and the Tongass National Forest as being located in Siberia. Apparently someone forgot to use a negative value for western longitude.

If I understand the premise correctly, it is a TV show about those who are not capable of watching the TV show.

This is one of those TV shows that makes me glad I do not get TV.

Except that I do not live off the grid. I do not even live off the road system. I happen to like my creature comforts, like indoor plumbing and central heating. I just do not care for what passes as TV entertainment these days.

Oh cripes, the few times I ever saw any of the "in the wild" shows they were so dumb only someone that has no clue would think they are real. They were annoying having them in the background while I had my nose buried in a book. I did sing up for Net%*k about a month ago and am enjoying that, being able to find and control what you want to watch.

I use to have the Dish Network, but I got tired of paying for 30 days of service per month and only getting 20 days (at best) worth of service. Since August 2006 I have been watching DVDs exclusively.

Even when MTA started offering DTV via the phone lines (I cannot get cable where I live), I preferred to buy my own DVDs. I do not save any money, because what I would have spent on a TV subscription per month, I now spend on DVDs. But I get to watch what I want, when I want, without the commercials or the political propaganda formerly known as "News."
