This morning, ADN had an article that had some prices of staples such as a 12 pack of paper towels costing $39.25 and a 36 pack of tp costing $37.85, 6 bucks for gas, etc,. With the average household income of $73,000, how do you make it work?

You don't pess away your money on useless stuff. Like, for real, who needs a Coach handbag or designer jeans with sequins on the hinney? You just don't waste stuff....

I thought you could just go to a fast food restaurant and take napkins to use as toilet paper and paper towels. OR that is that only in Fairbanks?

Holy crap, with paper towels at over three bucks a roll, I'd damn well be using cloth towels to do my cleaning. Yikes. Not sure how to avoid the expense of TP, unless you fancy pinching napkins from a local eatery.

On second thought, the hell with toilet paper. Install a bidet. It would pay for itself in a few months.
