an surely the media directors will turn this into some sort of freak show episodes that will make every wannnabe sky jocky run to Alaska...which has some of the worst conditions to fly in or learn to fly in!

I like it so far. Always wanted to go to Ak and for me the scenery is a big part unless it's "Palin's Alaska" in which case the scenery is the only part of the show.

good thing you know the difference with reality and fiction...definitely make a trip to Alaska...you will never want to leave...of course living in Ak is a whole different ball game!!

I doubt I'll get there. Having travelled all over the US for the last 17 years of business I just don't have the desire to travel anymore. At 73 years I'm happy to stay close to home and enjoy my own 36 acre piece of heaven.
Your right though. If I had gone there earlier in life I'd still be there like Dick Proeneke who wnet at age 58, built a cabin and never left.

hummmmm...73 yrs young?? man there is a guy who up and moved from England to New Zealand at the age of 90 something!! go for it! life is too short to not do what you want to do!
