Keep in mind the end of August and first part of September can be very wet weather and being out on the water you will be much cooler, we can have a freak weather pattern and you can enjoy some really nice sunshine but not warm temps, this last week end in Seward it was wonderful in our location is was 79 degrees on Saturday and then poored down rain and 59 on Sunday.

Bring some good shoes and a pair of insulated waterproof will be a good choice for one pair.

Very handy to carry stuff in. North Face, Kelty, Coleman all offer them.
Thanks
I did a google and they look great
We have a couple small backpacks but I really like the zippers in these. I will add them to the list.
Phew I was hopping I could leave the "infamous" ***** pack that seems to be the tourist rage here in Fla.

Treaas
Rance, sweden, my hubby and I will be all hanging around in Seward the day our ship leaves maybe we will run into you

Default f@nnypacks

One thing to consider about "f@nnypacks" (and why, exactly, is that word "off limits" to this forum?!?) is that they have more than one use. In particular, f@nnypacks are very often used to carry a handgun.

Anytime I see one of those, I automatically assume that the person wearing it is carrying a concealed handgun. Its so common that it's not really considered concealed in many shooting circles. You can also depend on pretty much every policeman out there also thinking the same.

I have a lot of pretty liberal friends who would never even think of carrying a handgun who are shocked to find that there are even holsters available for those packs, let alone how common it is to use them.

Some of them are so large that when you see people wearing them it is almost as if they have a strange growth protruding from there rear side
