I'd rather hear from others personal experience rather than what the websites and the like say.
As I understand I would need to apply to get a green card to enter the country, would this be easier to do with family already in the country, and would the green card application pass onto my own family?

Assuming I would be allowed to move to Alaska, is it easy to integrate there? I cannot find any solid information on the jobs offered in the country, nor what the payment would be. Any clarification on this would be helpful.

Finally, are immigrants into Alaska granted all the same rights as a normal resident?

Thank you for reading, any other hints and the like you can give would be much appreciated.

Sorry, but "what the websites and the like" say is precisely where you need to be going for information rather than this forum. Emigrating to the U.S. is a complicated process. By the way, Alaska is state, not a country.

"Immigrants into Alaska" either marry into it or have job skills that local populations can't supply.

There's this official page from the State Department: The Immigrant Visa Process

Employment in Alaska: It all depends on what your skills are. The drop in oil prices have really hurt our economy.

I'm not sure the Unites States needs any more workers right now. We don't even have the jobs for current citizens.

Actually, it doesn't depend on what your skills are unless you have a skill that cannot be filled by U.S. applicants -- and the employer had better be able to prove that if they sponsor you -- I mean prove it. they have to prove that they've advertised the position with a variety of legitimate source and so on.

I'm sure someone will pipe in with something about all of the foreigners who work in Alaska in some lame attempt to dispute what I'm saying , so I'll just correct their misconceptions in advance before yet even more bogus information gets posted on this forum -- those people are here on various types of worker visas (usually student) and are not trying to become U.S. citizens.

Sorry to be rude, but there's been a lot of misinformation posted on this forum lately because someone saw something on the Internet.

You can just walk across the boarder, get a place to stay, steady pay check and health care for free. Heck, I hear they are throwing in transportation to the state of choice for free as well.
