Default We need more Ivory...

Ivory sure doesn't last very long when you are busy every day making more bracelets!

Today we had to replenish our stock with more supplies.

NOTICE: The darker color of the ivory that has been exposed to the weather and the elements; The white portion is that part which was under the skin and inside of the skull!

Slice it all up and then begin to draw shapes and cut them out!

The more you do these same simple steps you will become very good at doing this and in short time it all becomes second nature!

TEST QUESTION: What sex was this walrus? hint: you can determine that by looking @ the 'core' of the ivory. Large core = male; Extremelly small core = female!

Default A new bracelet design

A new bracelet design using a lot of different shapes and pieces.

This is different from most of the previous bracelets we have shown and made.

When you see the final finished results you will see why this type of bracelet takes much more than a day to put together. The results are worth the effort.

These photos are being posted and the steps required to make this unique type of bracelet is all for YOU to advance in your knowledge and quest to work at home for yourself.

We have nothing for sale!

This bracelet is going to have some addtional insets of the opposite color.
White Diamonds inserted into the baleen pieces; And.. black diamonds of a different shape into the white ivory pieces.

Each of the "spacer" pieces have to be molded to the shape of the large piece one at a time to fit that piece exactly.

As I have said many times; the more you work with these same simple shapes; you will use your imagination to think of different designs!

Each of these diamond insets must be painstakingly cut out using a very small sharp burr or cutting bit.

These white diamonds will be inset inside of the baleen; They will not be merely glued on top of the other pieces. It requires many hours of skilled work to make this happen with NO GAPS!

NOTICE: the dried superglue on his finger tips. It comes right off in several different ways; they like to just 'peel' it off at the end of the day.

Thanks for the comments Jebatu; Each of my sons smiled when they read what you posted !!

Each piece that is worked on; stays in the same order. If these pieces get mixed up they won't fit together perfectly. Each piece is custom shaped for an exact fit.

BLACK diamonds will be shaped and formed to inset into the white spacer pieces of this fine unique bracelet.

Another bracelet which is the exact opposite of this bracelet is also in the works to provide a 3 bracelet set of visa versa; Ivory & Baleen bracelets to be given away as a gift.
