The Inupiaq people harvest animals for food! The Ivory & or Baleen is part of the food cycle which they refuse to waste.

FOOD comes FIRST !! I guess you want all of the Inupiaq people to become engaged in gardening vegetables here in the arctic ?

What is your solution? Fish & game are plentiful in the oceans. There is nothing that is in any danger.

But it seems you are living in a different world with different standards that can't be met up here according to your logic.

Thanks for your input; it is extremely revealing as to its prejudicial implications.

Really, we are the only ones allowed to pick on Sity. If you can't say something nice....or at least comment on subjects you know about, probably best to say nothing at all. Probably safer to stay on the Delaware board.

The small plastic switch for this unit broke. We merely drilled two tiny 1/16" holes in the plastic stub and inserted two metal pegs from drill bits that have had the shank removed. Apply super glue and add one fossil walrus tooth and we now have a much more durable switch !!

Polishing the pieces can be done individually using a dremel tool or all at once on a much bigger faster wheel of cotton. There are many other materials you can use to polish. I am not speaking about the compound itself; rather the material. i.e. cotton, muslim, leather..

Another shape of a different type. There are no limits - explore all the different possibilities which will provide you with a much varied inventory

One simple shape - now make a lot of them!

Draw lines and drill the holes to string the bracelet up.

Just make sure that drill bit can't reach the other side of the piece of ivory. We drill each piece from two different directions so as to avoid drilling into the flesh of the finger.

Work @ home and enjoy the rewards of getting paid every single day!

Make another shape to add to this bracelet design -

Lots of pieces are needed for this next final step

Next - combine all of the pieces - smooth the edges

That is a 'purdy' bracelet !!

Default A Lesson to Learn

This is your goal :

Now here are all the photos you need to learn how simple this is to accomplish.

Take your time and you will master this just by making more than 2 pair. Then you will START to become more proficient .. you learn by doing the same things over and over until you eventually become an expert!

There is nothing difficult about having the necessary skills to do this. But you have to start - then you will learn as you practice!!

The next step is for you to ........practice - again & again until that smile creeps over your face!!

In one of the upcoming lessons.. .. we will show you how to insert a black baleen ball inside of these ear-rings!!
