Sage advice... always let the local go first, keep a ways apart, wait till it has been real cold for a few weeks, Quit when it starts getting warm.

I think last year was one of the only years someone didn't fall through the ice with their vehicle, but the DOT closed it earlier too.

Its been 20 below for the past couple weeks, its getting old. Supposed to "warm" up to the teens by next week, hopefully.

Default Moose "tracks" in Alaska

We came across this "track" on an undisclosed river this fall. To keep things in perspective the gun has a 4" barrel.

Its prolly a old bull, tough meat. Them 2 and 3 year old bulls taste better, nice and tender.

If you don't blow the picture up, it looks like two geese tied together that tried to fly and kept crashing into the sand.

Well having never tried tying up two geese, I wouldn't know. I agree on the 3 year old moose, Yumm! nice and tender. think I will thaw out some moose sausage for breakfast. down to the last few packages.
