I agree. Swimming even in mid summer isn't done because the water is too cold. The air temperature in the summer averages around 62 degrees.

When I see the boats, I think about what the man who bought my son's Jeep C7. When he asked my son why he was selling it, my son told him he didn't have time to 'play' with it anymore. The man bought it and told him the Jeep's playing days are over. "It's a work maching now." Boats in Minnesota and North Dakota are boy toys. Here in Angoon they're 'work machines.'

I learned yesterday that in addition to being used for fishing, hunters use the boats for hunting deer and seal. They go to different parts of the island to look for deer and then pack the deer in to the boat to bring it back to the village.

I thought that the AT&T card was supposed to fix everything?

Me, too. It's been working fairly well for the first time today, slow but it hasn't kicked me out, yet.

I can use the computer in my office without problems. It is a work computer so a lot of web sites are blocked, like Photobucket. I download my pics there so I can share them.
