Looks like someone is doing some remodeling in the sticks. Hauling stuff the Alaskan way!

Great Photos!

Hey Warp,

In your travels across the river, did you ever see an old rusted out river boat called the "Tammy"? In the late 60's, I use to work on it pushing freight up from Bethel to above McGrath in the summers. The company was bought out in about 1970 and retired the boats they had back then and used newer ones.

The Tammy was two landing crafts that were welded together and in about 1950 or so, had a cabin and such built up off the deck with a bridge above that. Would like it if you know what they are looking like now and if you can get a few photos. I was told they are on the beach in a slew over there.

That should be really nice! You going to put widows in the open/upper end of the wall to be able to see out when up in the loft?

There are a few old tugs overgrown with trees inside Steamboat Slough. I can probably drive up there and see if I can get into the slough tonight after work.

Yes that end will be facing north and the lake. So I'll be able to see northern lights whilst sitting around the wood stove strummin my banjo!

Captain, that lens came yesterday. It's headed to the lake today for some practice.

Sorry Warpt....there are only for Nikon's in my lens department

That particular lens Rance purchased online and for some reason they wouldn't ship to Alaska so it came to me first.

The same company however did send him his Bigma direct to Alaska...
