Yes. It was taken last August at Misty Fjords National Monument outside of Ketchikan.

I love taking pictures from airplanes ....they are very difficult shots and well worth it! I have always loved the small waterfalls on all the mountains.

Here I am in my new jacket (pic was taken 2 years ago) and the wind was blowing pretty hard.
Awesome pictures

I really want to get out and go snowmobiling.

Are you still in Anchorage? I won't be home for a week and a half...but I'd be up for riding to that glacier!

Looks like there would be some great photo op's around that glacier...especially in that cave!
You have a machine? If not...I've got two.

so I know this isn't a picture, but figured there wouldn't be a better place to ask about this camera setup. What do you all think about this setup and price for my first digital setup? I know I've got a lot to learn to grow into this setup, but to me it seemed a great price for what I was getting.

Price $1,000

Nikon D80
Nikkor 35-70mm AF 2.8D
Nikkor 24mm 2.8 prime

The package also comes with:
battery and charger
2 1 gig memory cards
2 4 gig memory cards
memory card reader
Heavy duty Bogen tripod with a joystick head.
Lowepro camera bag.
The lenses have UV filters
legal copy of Adobe CS3 design premium suite
