Thank you. I just started taking moon photos, and will need a lot more practice.

I went to the local landfill to take some trash away, and there were a few ravens having fun. Then I noticed a bald eagle about 50 yards away on a tree top. I got a little closer, and it flew away, but still managed to take a couple of shots of it.

Nice shots Ray. I've yet to get a good photo of a Raven, all that black. You must have had the light just right for that one.

Gramma, love Bullet on the rock. He reminds me of the Lab I had, always showing off or making me uneasy due to her doing crazy things.

Yes, it was about 5:00 PM, with a lot of golden sunlight. Raven's are easy to photograph, but all the black sort obscures their eyes which in turn reduces the number of good photos.

Ray, you know, raven is my favorite bird of Chukotka. Chukchee people think a raven is the symbol of wisdom. It's very good you've got it! And do you have a pic of flying raven?

No. I haven't been able to take a photo of one flying, but they are very gracious flyers. They can just open their wings, and use the air currents to move around without having to flap them (much like eagles).
