The storm shot was awesome! I have not heard thunder in so long, I think if I heard it now it'd scare me! lol!

Along the theme of clouds, clouds, more clouds.... these are from last week, copper river delta area.

When the clouds like that approach here (for me Lake Koshkonong, Wisconsin) we expect the worst but nothing actually happen. All the tornadoes pass the lake northerly and all we get is the show of scary clouds and rain. For now.

That's a situation landscape photographers live (and die) for. Having said that, that photograph can be considerably enhanced with some deft processing. It has much potential still lying low.

Please clarify. The above remark can only be made by someone ignorant of both the science of the digital capture process and the art/technique of digital image processing. But don't let such ignorance come in your way.

NoTrees, what program do you use for processing/editing. I have some simple ones that do the job, but probably not as good as they could....

Stormy weather - Knik Glacier at bottom of mountains, Hunter Creek Glacier up high with Mt. Palmer sitting high above it all.
