Item not released yet... I will watch out for it.
Any advice is always welcome. I used to have a digital Rebel, 8mp so I am somewhat familiar with this design, but I never ventured into manual setups.
Also I will have to come up with few hundred bucks, well prolly closer to a thousand so my son can build me a decent computer. Laptop would be nice, but a lot more expensive. The one I am using is just a very basic back-up machine that is old and out of memory. I am sure I could not use any of the software that came with this Canon.
Thanks Ray!

There is more to the story. Amazon did charge me twice, but they denied this, claiming that it was only some sort of a payment authorisation, not an actual charge. But they got paid twice and we had the bank fax them the proof- all while they claimed only one transaction took place. Well, today they released one of the payments and two cameras arrived It really sounds liek they had no idea two items were shipped...

Living here is expensive, but doable.

Was flying home from Anchorage tonight and took some photos along the way...

Shot of Anchorage after taking off from Lake Hood

Looking down on Big Lake and the smaller ones around it...

Tried to get a shot of Mt. McKinley, but the haze was too thick... but you can still see it in the center above the haze a bit.
