We had a big boomer down here yesterday. Its really scary to see a bolt come down a few hundred yards away followed by a thunderclap that makes you cringe.

Most HDR images that I have seen just don't look real to me. I may give it a try one day though.

The settings are pretty adjustable in the software and it has allot to do with how much you change the +/- on the Bracketing setting used in the camera...most suggest at 0,-2,+2 on the bracketing....but if you use a smaller number (0,-1,+1) to bracket the image will be more real to your own taste...

This afternoon in Kuparuk. Looking across a pond at Central Process Facility #3. Nice and calm today. Bugs are way bad tho.

Any Caribou made it up that far yet? Last time I was up (2 weeks ago) there were a few small heards down around Franklin Bluffs. I won't be up again untill the end of the month. Hoping to get some good pics of the migration.
