I thought so, but it seemed too big to be one...
As usual, great photos Nephler.

Really? Beavers built that? I've seen little dams across streams in NY and Ohio but I've never seen anything that large. Do they live in it?

So many of these photos remind me of a 60ish set of movies titled "Wilderness Family" and "WF Part 2." Basically they are about an LA family that moves to the wilderness for their daughter's health. The setting looks a lot like the setting for The Edge.

I love those movies and I tried and tried to get my 10 year old goddaughter and her friends to watch them during a slumber party here but they said the movies were for babies. They wanted to see The Exorcist which I refused to let them watch because their parents would kill me. LOL. The movies are a bit hokey but the scenery is fantastic. Y'all's pics remind me of the movies. Beautiful.

I'm trying to keep my yard from dying while looking at all the greenery in Alaska.

The beaver lodges around here tend to be very large from what I've seen. They even make 2 and 3 tiered ponds, really cool looking.

And here's another beaver pond, not a multi tiered one though.

Great pics. as always! Is it law you have to wear helmets on jet skis there? I have never seen anyone do that before... and for the "offroading" that is a pass time I truly enjoy.. is there a lot of places to go to get muddy around Palmer? (legally??)

There's no law for it, he's just one of those safety minded person. Helmets have foam inside them, would keep your head afloat!
