On the Kenai Peninsula, on Skilak Lake is where the cabin rests.

Spent an hour down by the Kenai River this morning. Some fantastic clouds in the southeastern sky.

Nice eagle. Didn't poop on me.

A Merganser preening on a rock.

Just ran the machine across Moose River to deliver some homemade buns I baked this morning. Some more fantastic sky!

I had a heck of a day Fell down my steps at home landing on my hiney (ouch!) headed out to hike at Eagle River Nature Center.....fell again.......lost one of my two new Ice Trax slip on shoe spikes after that.....my dog acted like a wimp around people.....then did my first ditch dive with the Envoy causing Crossfire to have to come pull me out..........but I caught a sweet sunset while I was waiting

I did catch a beaver spying on us spying on him........and what I think is a American dipper (bird) ????

Well, Crossfire to the rescue again - apparently that "beaver" I posted above is an Otter?
