I've been having to set my exposure up by one step. Not sure if my camera needs a good cleaning or if it's the light.

Great job you's guys! Glad I wasn't the only one out in force today. I had -18 here this morning, and with the clear skies I knew it would be a great volcano shooting day. So I took me a road trip to Homer, which was a nice 24 above by the way.

Looking across Cook Inlet at Redoubt about 2PM

Same thing, but Illiamna

Same thing, but Augustine

Sitting at the pullout over Homer

High oe'r the watery uproar, silent seen,
Sailing sedate in majesty serene,
Now midst the pillard spray sublimely lost,
And now emerging, down the rapids tossed,
Glides the Bald Eagle, gazing, calm and slow

Stopped but didn't go in

I went here and had Cajun Calamari, and hot crab and artichoke dip with fresh baked Tuscan bread. Good stuff!

Watched the sunset on the mountains across Kachemak Bay. No wind and no waves. A really nice day!

Homer Harbor at sunset

Augustine Volcano on the way home

Next to the bridge in Soldotna, at the visitors center. Pretty cool ice carving.

I wonder if the eagle found any small dogs to eat?

Hopefully you'll have the weather I did. It was a fantastic day for a drive. I just wish the wife could have been here to share it with. It had to be one of the calmest days I've ever seen along the inlet. Had I known that before going, I would have brought my boat!
