Oh my Gosh, Rance! I just logged on to post my whale pics We went out of Seward..
Great minds think alike.......and I STILL love my camera Thank goodness I learned about my continuous shutter command dial!

We got to see a Momma and baby Humpback play in a cove......a sea otter with a brand new baby on her belly....and some Stellar Sea Lions.

And the splash!

Thanks guys! It was a blast! The boat cap'n said it will be better in a few weeks once the whales feed their bellies from the long migration, they'll be more apt to play on the surface.
It felt good to get out on the water and feel some sun, I think I need to do that a few more times before winter comes again.
However, I can do without trying to chase down a bunch of spastic puffins for the "tourists"

I posted in another thread, Alaska Railroad has Alaska resident prices on their summer tours. Anchorage to Seward by Train and a boat trip in Resurrection bay for $165 per person, they run daily.
Has to be booked by June 1st they also have deals on Denali tours.

Trying to work out when we want to take a day off and head down there.
