The building is the old Airforce Early Warning radar site. There used to be a White Alice Communications System back in the day.

The white thing in the sled is someones little fishing shack.

In this picture, my eye deceives me. It makes it look like the ocean is right there beyond Bethel. What is that seemingly blue expanse there? Too big to be any of the lakes close to Bethel, so it must be the river, right? I would have thought the river was still frozen.

That is the sky...
The river is still frozen. Can't see it in the picture.

Haha, no, not the sky. There's a small strip of dark blue-ish something right below where the sky begins. To the left of Bethel, you can see some a couple of white spots in it that look like frozen water.
