Cool shot of the ram, I think that's what I saw when I was little & we took a trip to Glacier Nat'l Park. Nothing better than seeing wildlife in its natural element.

Great Ram shots Rance! I see you holding a camera, but my eyes aren't working well. What equipment are you shooting with? Have you ever shot one of those huge Alaskan bull moose? You know, the ones that are twice the size as the ones down here! At least antler size anyway. What about polar bear? Either you have a great telephoto lense or your awful close. Good job!

I was using a Nikon D200 with a 70mm x 300mm. The ram was maybe 50 foot away and 20 up on a ledge. I have missed many great moose shots in the past...and last fall was so mad because we had 3 brown bears across the river which I could not zoom in...so I kicked out the 500 bones for the 70 x 300 with VR so I could zoom in on critters.

I also have a yard full of those yeller blooms; they are the only flower [cough] here, that I recognize from back in Lower 48, having to learn to identify many new wildflowers now that I’m here in AK.
I haven’t seen any Rams yet myself, don’t think we get them here, but I’ve seen a few Mountain Goats.
