Thank you, I wasn't sure if it was a columbine as the identification photos weren't a match for the color. Nice to know it is.

I always can tell by the "crown" on the back of the bloom... plus the trumpet type center... I've seen many colors and this one is a beauty.. wish I had seeds for my garden... they love to grow in Wisconsin soil too

there are many picture sites where you can download them and then right click on a "fully open" picture, choose copy and then past in a comment box... I use my pictures that I post in my facebook page.. works great and I don't have to be limited or pay for having a picture account. there are free basic sites but I like that I can go to one place and copy them and my family and facebook friends can enjoy them also... good luck
