People camping along Clam Gultch

We camped 4 days on our trip twice near sweard, on Homer Spit, and once at Soldotna. Certainly glad we made the trip. It certainly seemed to seal the deal and i think the next year's planning will be for a move and not just a trip. In anticipation we've already been planning and saving since last year and this was just an exploratory trip
Glad the pictures worked out for you ... beautiful and I know what you mean about exploratory trip... I made a 25 day trip and can't get my mind off of my visit. I started my savings almost a year ago and still want to make a few more trips since I'm not sure of my location... I'm sure when it gets right down to it... the job I get will determine the final decission... good luck to you

Stellar sea lions chowing down on pinks by the weir at work.

Glaucous-winged gulls hassle the sea lions for fish.

Sea lion says "raaaaarrrrr!"

The view from the weir.

Pinks in the fish ladder.

tigre79 awesome photos. Is it possible for humans to swim in that water? I have always wanted to swim with the dolphins or maybe sea lions if they aren't too aggressive ....

Sure, go ahead. Pet the bears, too, they love it!
