I wonder if there were any commanding officers around at the time? Seems like they might get in hot water for misuse of US government ordinance. Funny though.

I don't know, we threw frag grenades off the boat claiming we were depth charging Viet Cong subs (they didn't have any).... At night it lights up a hundred foot circle of seawater and sounds like a sledge hammer hitting the hull. Pretty cool!

Lot of stress in a battlefield enviroment. I don't see any problem in using up enemy weapon systems so the locals don't have them. Fishing with them is much better than shooting at a striker with our troops in them!

So fishing works pretty good for me!
