Yep lots of people there are about 17 cabins at Deadman now, chances are someone will be there. I'm going out there today will be back on Tue. The Tails within 25 miles from Nenana get regular use and stay in good shape. passed Old Minto the Trial gets not so good for 15 miles. Lots of variables every time you go. Got a call from a guy in north Dakota the other day that says he bought a lot and is going to build.
That's awesome wish I was heading out there. One of these days!!! Thanks for all the useful Deadman information you've posted.

What kind of plane do you have?

I had a 7ECA for a number of years, but didn't have much HP, then I got a 7GCBC with a 160Hp and constant speed prop which was outstanding for skis (and floats).

Those are very nice planes, I almost bought one a few years back, but went for the GCBC instead for what I was doing.

I do not recommend building out of the existing trees. Only cut the trees on your property, No one would probably Bi%# about you cutting one or two but if you start cutting a 50-100 on someone else's property, people will probably get up set. Don't bring a 4 wheeler out and tear up the trails.Yes there are some there. Snow machines are ok try to stay on the right of ways existing trails.
