Actually, I was addressing Snott, not you.

Well, then I guess you aren't a very good writer. You mentioned Palin fans before you mentioned Snott, whoever that is. In a different paragraph, no less. The casual reader would have no way of knowing your reference to and disrespect for Palin fans was directed to someone called Snott.

Funny how Palin fans are still resorting to personal slams against anyone who so much as breathes in a perceived wrong octave concerning her.

I am a cultural linguist and Alaska is an amalgamation of accents.

Palin's accent is just a Western United States accent. She augments it a bit, but there is nothing particularly "Alaskan" about it.

Alaska has people from all over, as well as accents locally from different villages. But she speaks English and that works for me!

If an accent defines someone, then Obama has a distinct "White accent", so what, it's his thought process that I think is cooked. But he does speak perfect English when reading off a Teleprompter! Studders a lot when off the prompter though.

I've actually never noticed an accent, but I did notice a change when she became the VP pick -- all the folksy stuff -- Sarah didn't used to talk that way.
