Hi,
I am considering a job in Bethel and thought it best to travel this winter to visit, instead of the 'tourist' season in July. Possible travel late December/early January.

What lodging options are available? I'd like to stay at least 1 week, but not sure if I can afford that at $200/night. I won't be traveling alone so am trying to find something with two full beds. The plane tickets x 3 will already be taking a bite out of the pocketbook.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The only real hotel worth staying at here is the Long House, not sure about the rates there. There are a few B&B's here, too. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel/motel here.

Ok, that says a lot. I will check into it. I think it runs 200/night. Will also look into the B&Bs

However, they don't have a room with two beds available, moving on to the B&B list.

Well, after much review and thought, it's going to be cheaper if I save the $~6K for a 'visit' and just use that for all of the downpayments on rent (first/last/deposit and whatnot), etc.

So, on a wing and a prayer, once I see the opening posted, I'm applying. Just have to convince a 70s stubborn mom it's a good choice!

That first last and security can eat up a chunk of change.

Good luck with convincing mom and with getting a job.
