The Panda Bear was also a myth as well. They had active expeditions for over 60 years before some locals in China brought in a dead one.

I believe it has been more than 60 years for the bigfoot legend but a lot of people claim to have seen them... you would think we would have seen skeletal remains by now but they are just now discovering that man has been around many million years longer then they originally thought so you never know... not saying I believe but I do have an open mind ... yes Glitch... you qualify LOL

With the proliferation of cameras in everyone's phone, you would think that there would be more sightings and photos, if such a critter existed. The fact that there are fewer reported sightings, of not just this critter but also UFOs in general, would be a very strong indication that there is no such thing.

This is just people's over-active imaginations gone crazy and not applying any common sense.

The OP is telling the truth, the professor heading it up is Jeff Meldrum, I believe he is from Idaho State in Pocatello. They are trying to fund a blimp that will hover over forests and look for bigfoot. Google it.

If the pay is good enough I will volunteer to look around. Is this part of the job stimulus package?

When I was 14 years old I went fishing at a small inland lake. Right when I was sittin' there fishing Bigfoot walked out of the woods, sat down next to me, and started eating a raccoon. He had really big feet. If I had to guess, I'd say they were size 14EEEE, at least.

That was the one and only time I ever saw him. He never attempted to harm me. Just ate his raccoon, got up, and disappeared back into the woods.

Was this in Minnesota? There have been reported sightings around here too. The bigfoot research people were brought in to look around and everything.

It is certainly one of those "shovel ready" job. Be prepared to shovel a lot of BS.

I know that there are people in Alaska (at least on POW) who intentionally create "evidence" of BF to mess with the outsiders.
