I actually like the thought of the possible existence of Bigfoot. If Bigfoot were ever 100% proven to exist, or 100% proven not to exist, it will kill of the mystery surrounding it that makes it so intriguing to wonder if such a creature is really out there or not. There are a lot of things out there still undiscovered. Every time we think we know it all, something new turns up. Even things we have thought of as extinct in the past have been found and proven still to exist.

If Bigfoot does indeed exist, it is an intelligent creature and doesn't want to be found, and thus hides itself well. If Bigfoot does not exist, the eerie mystery and folklore surrounding it is still intriguing enough to keep the myth alive. I for one don't really want to find out one way or the other, as I said, I like the mystery.

PS, I saw that Bigfoot episode on POW Halloween night. Interesting show. It was part of a marathon that I caught on the Animal Planet. Other episodes of it I saw that night before having to go to work were in Minnesota, and Washington.

I am sorry to inform you all. Big Foot is a myth. And the Loch Ness Monster (Scotland), is a myth as well. Sorry to make pee pee on you (collective) parade.

Credible sources disproving them and all their eye witnesses over the centuries beyond a reasonable doubt?

Beyond those two, also let me in on flying saucers and el chupacabra.

Bigfoot isn't a myth, he's a gigantopithecus who spends most of his time in Michigan's UP, primarily Marquette County.

That's a fact.

Someone once told me they knew an honest politician. Now that's a myth.

There's also different strains of Bigfoot. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Trust me bigfoot is real. I have had many encounters with them in many states. The idiots above have no clue what they are talking about. Go out into the woods and you might find out to.

Native American myths all over the US and Canada report something like Big Foot. The Nez Pierce Indians have a dozen stories by themselves. Thousands of eye witness accounts ever since white man came to this continent, and those are just the reported and recorded ones.

BigFoot/Sasquatch/Wendingo/Grass Man is either the longest running practical joke ever, or has some basis in reality.

All I know is that while I remain skeptical, I have seen something, that in light of the evidence makes no other sense. Either I saw a Bigfoot, I saw a nine foot tall person dressed up in a bear suit, or the freeze dried food I was eating went bad.
