I don't know about that, my adopted sister was killed at 14, knew who did it and all the other details but it never really brings closure. You just know more but you're still hollow...

how terrible Star... what a horrible thing to have to go through... I am with the majority here... I'm glad he isn't having to waste tax payer's money and all the tv coverage that would go on and on... for the victim's families having to view his face and live through their pain for months ...

I can't even imagine the pain of the loss... prayers for all the victims and their families and friends... may they all eventually find some peace.

It was a long time ago, you tend to get fuzzy on the details, but you don't miss the hurt.

The fact that he did himself it in, just makes the chances of him getting back out and hurthing someone else a non event.

Those that he may have killed are gone and nothing can bring them back, and the more news coverage he gets will just keep snowballing and they will end up making him into a movie. All of which is just sicking to me, they are doing that with Hanson right now. Just what we need a loon that is marginally on the fence seeing something like that and following suit.

Glad he didn't have a long drawn out trial, it pretty much ends here.

When Keyes was first arrested, there was...a lot of typing on the subject on this forum. At least one person -- can't recall who -- squawked incessantly about how the girl should have run or fought back. That's one of the reasons I dislike these types of discussions on this forum; what the victim could or should have done is always so loud.

Now that we know more about her abduction, she did try to fight and try to run.

Her father is not happy Keyes didn't have to answer for his crimes in court.

I can't blame him; it must be so difficult. I don't know how any parent can ever get past something like this.

Glad, glad one more piece of crap is gone. Now, how do we get the death penalty for people who abuse children? The day they are found guilty is the day they should be tortured to death.

Serial killer Israel Keyes was willing to make a deal. He would give investigators the location of two bodies, a name and maybe, if he felt like it, a murder weapon. The price? A cigar, he said cheerfully.

I wonder if he's having any success getting a cigar down in the pits of hell.
