A reality show about the driving abilities of scissorbills during their first winter in Fairbanks. It will be entitled "BLACK ICE". We are going to have open casting calls in September and will start filming soon after that. Are you wanting in??

I'm set for the next reality show called "Building in the Wild", where I get to show people how to access the wilderness and get their supplies out to their property!

AND... How not to get eaten doing it!

Back when I worked a beach site out of Naknek...they could have made a killer show with the drama between drifters and beach site guys. Or even between drifters themselves or the beach site guys themselves. I worked drift boats out of Kenai for a number of years and had just a fraction of the drama compared to Bristol Bay.

My next one will be called Crab Camp a docu-drama about 4 diehard fans of the show Deadliest Catch from upstate New York. It'll follow these 4 misguided souls as they prepare to head to Dutch Harbor in hopes of making big money and meeting hot women. Armed with only the clothes in their duffle bags and a 3 man tent. Follow the adventures of these foolhardy souls as they attempt to find the coveted position of "greenhorn" on a Bering Sea crab fishing boat.

I know it's been done in Texas...but they could do an Alaskan version of Black Gold - drilling for oil or gas in Alaska. Still plenty of drama going on there. Some days I feel like babysitter. You'd think grown men would act more mature, especially being burly roughnecks.

My local gun store, http://www.wildwestguns.com/ has a show on Animal Planet right now. Not really sure what the point is, just a bunch of the guys (and Gal) running around every week hamming it up for the camera.

I'm trying to watch that. But really can't figure out the point in it. It's not funny nor entertaining.

I believe a question that's been nagging me has been answered. All these Alaska shows now, even a show about one guy building a cabin. I've wondered what the people in Alaska, and haven't recently moved there, think about them.
