The hogfamily hosted our home school co-op's field trip to the Iditarod trail. Here are a few photos from our adventure.


First stop was Corral Hill.

Nice pics ! I've been following the Iditarod since we met Jessie Royer (bib#30) and Susan Butcher's husband on a trip to Alaska back in 2007. I use to live in Soldotna & Fairbanks years ago and love visiting and seeing pictures of Alaska.

Why 16dogs,whats he distance from font dogs to rear of sled? Loved the pics thanks for posting them . Man t looks like fun ,but i bet not only the dogs have to be fit but the musher to . The dogs acually look lie there enjoing the whole thing . Must be born to love it. Very impressive sight

Well I love all the info and pictures... good for robot... just hope he didn't tie Ken up ...
I am a fan of all the mushers... can't wait to have a hot dog get together and take a few of those photos!... thanks for sharing Hog...

The length of ganglines depends on the mushers and dogs but common length is 5' or 6' sections per team of dogs with a longer section between the sled and the wheel dogs.
