The far southern panhandle (Ketchikan) hardly gets snow. The climate is more like Seattle than the rest of Alaska. There are occasionally substantial snowfalls, but it melts quickly.

Coastal areas around Ketchikan and Prince of Wales Island. It will snow at lower elevations on occasion but doesn't stay around.

Eh, most coastal areas of S.E. Alaska are fairly mild. Places like Port Alexander, the average Jan. low is around 30 degrees.
