Hasn't really gotten cold here in southwest. I'll take it though, I think I like warmer weather now. Getting old or something.

Hey there, here in more or less North Central North Carolina, the high is forecast to be around 74 and the low should be close to 43, for about 4 months of the year we need neither heat, nor AC, a moderate to mild temperature zone. Our Deer season (white tail - odocoileus virginianus) starts in 10 days, gathering a winter food supply.....actually enough to last us for a year, or thereabouts. Did I mention that we have chickens? Did I also mention that we also have foxes? We've lost several chickens to the foxes, the chickens used to go into the woods, scratching for whatever they could find, after foxes took their toll of wayward hens and roosters, the chickens no longer go into, or close beside, the woods. The foxes used to raid the yard from time to time in search of an easy meal. Dreifus, our quite large German Shepherd managed to get, at least three of them, actually, the number may be larger...anyway.... the chickens no longer go into the woods, and the foxes no longer come into the yard, ahhhhhhh.....a truce exists, except between me and the crows (they really like eating out of my garden, this year, with the drought, they had slim pickens). Enough of this, oftimes I ramble. Lo siento (Spanish for "OOPS, sorry about that) D

The lady on KXLL (sigh, yes I listen to public radio, point and laugh if you must) just said there's a wind advisory out for CBJ, along with possible snow...
*Jealousy begins to take over*
