I bought troll-caught and halibut. The kids working for me iced fish, iced the boats, loaded totes of fish onto the tenders, and unloaded totes of ice and supplies onto the scow. I graded and bought, wrote tickets, sold fuel & supplies. The hours were long, daytime and middle of the night, whenever a boat needed/wanted to sell. I had shower and laundry facilities for the boat folks, too. Nice set up.
So I leave on the 20th and I'm getting all my gear and stuff ready to pack. any extra items i should back that i might not know better to bring? I'm bringing my own first aid kit including pain relievers and sea sick meds. Someone let me know? i know I'm gonna get there or be there and be like damn :\ I wish I got that.
And................ I'm on the other side of the earth there friend in NY. Completely switching the type of work I'm normal. And a good guy up there called me back and hired me all the way in NY and i get to go all over not just Sitka. I'm landing in Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau (where beautiful woman live btw) and Pelican and then Sitka. I'll take pixs for ya
