To be honest even I find myself wondering at times why I am drawn to this whole idea. It's just a dream I've had my entire life, and I figure it's best to find out now, while I'm young, if it's for me. If I find the work to be too vigorous, or I just don't like it, then I can just get out. But who knows, I may just end up loving it.
Quit playing with people. That ain't nice. You graduated from veterinarian school in May of 2012.
I just graduated from veterinarian school this past May. I am 27, and have lived in Baton Rouge, LA my entire life. To sum it all up, I HATE Louisiana, lol. The people, the weather, the government, all of it (no offense to anyone who does live here). I have always wanted to move away from home, but not too far away, so if something ever occured, I could be home soon. I really like the Southwest US. Texas, and Arizona to be specific. Is Austin a good place for a newly graduated young adult? What is the economy, people, food like, etc? Thanks? Any nice cities outside of Austin? Is Arizon nicer than Texas in your opinion? Thanks.
You know what, OP? I hope you had a bit of fun here (although I don't really get the point), but more than that, I hope that someone who really wants the information that you were asking for finds something useful in this thread.
Many years back, 20 a guy I knew did it for the summer, just the processing ship, made 15k in just over 2 months working almost 18 hours a day, broke his hip on a slippery surface and had to pay his own medical of 3-4k. He said overall it was worth it, but would not do it again.
Oh, I see we were punked, ok ha ha ur a funny guy! I hope you got the attention you were looking for, back under the bridge for you.
When he called himself a 'young kid" my BS alarm pealed loudly.
LOL, anyone under 45 is a young kid to me....
