No, not my dog. We seen him and my wife kept saying it was a wolf. But I was sure it was to small. After we got here and blew up the pictures we could see it was a Shepard. There wasn't a lot in that area so it could have been wild.

Hey Mark

Couple of Q's for ya...I see that you are driving a Dodge, but what model/size?
What size trailer are you pulling?
And how did that combination work going through the mountains?

We are still deciding what truck and trailer combo what work best for us come spring.

Thanks

My truck is a 2005 Dodge 1500 4x4 4 door. The trailer is 18'. It was very border line on being to heavy for the mountains. With the trailer being packed full and the Quad in the bed of the truck, the truck worked pretty hard on some of the hills. One of the things I found out the hard way was watch what tires are on the trailer. I bought a new trailer and 2 spares for it. I blew 5 tires on the way up here. The trailer came with bias-ply tires. These tires are junk and won't hold up to the rough roads. I bought 4 radio tires in route and didn't have any more problems. Buying trailer tires in the middle of the Yukon only cost me a $1000.00. My advise to you is not to over load the truck and trailer.
