I don't know what to tell you, but the Alaska's economy at the moment is in a downturn. Our economy depends on oil to survive, and the State's budget is in the red. You may want to read every post in this thread:
https://www.city-data.com/forum/alask...my-thread.html

You may want to look into "seasonal work."

I remember my father trying to find a job in California a few years ago. He was extremely qualified and his job was in high demand. Yet, because my parents didn't live there, nobody offered him anything. I think you need to save up for a few months rent, bite the bullet and move there. Once you're there you can try to find a job.

I wouldn't move to Alaska without a job right now unless I had a skill that was in extremely high demand or a cash stash large enough to bail me out if things didn't work out.

Thanks for the advice guys I'm gona keep trying and see what happens I think I need a job before I come wouldn't want to risk putting my family out on the streets . With the oil prices rising I would think that would help the economy in the near future hopefully

Maybe you could 'vacation' there for a week and try to do some walk in applications.

Best of luck
