I understand how reality shows work and have not been lulled into believing the unbelievable. I was wondering though, of the folks living in Alaska, in your opinion, which "reality" show is most "real"?

Yukon Men, they come to near "starvation" so many times it's funny.

What are people saying about On the Edge of Alaska? I've been to McCarthy, but don't remember it the way it's being televised. They don't even mention the national park.

True. Starvation days are on everyday that ends in "y". I blame that on the shows writes and producers. My favorite parts, when they got a live wolverine in the trap. Always, just one toe in the trap.

The father-in-law drives for Carlile. Most of what you see on Ice Road Truckers is staged. I grew up in the timber industry and I can tell you so much is of what is on Ax Men is staged or hyped up.
A lot of "Buying Alaska" is staged.
In my opinion, the only show that did a half way decent job was Alaska State Troopers.
