We are the people that are coming to Central to live there full time. There are pros and cons for both types of generators. A generator we can actually pretty much grab at the last min. the inverter and items we have to order so we want to make sure we are on track there.

Some inverters can be linked together but that would depend on the type of inverter.

IF you are going to be cutting the corners by stacking them, which may or may not work depending on that model if you are staying at 110 VAC, most models won't do a phase match and may burn each other up.

You might take in consideration that just running the inverter at max load may not work for you, someone may turn on a light, pump or some other item that may overload the system and again do damage or burn out the inverter or the lower voltage may burn out your appliance.

Best bet is to buy an inverter that will handle your entire load and a tad over for further expansion.

One can connect two or more inverters or generators to the same bus, but a synchronizer must be used to parallel the inverters or generators. Honda inverter generators use two inverters. Honda also offers a control unit that allows you to parallel two generators.
