Morning All,

Currently live in Anchorage and looking at retirement options. Would like to stay in Alaska if possible but not Anchorage. Love the Kenai so thinking about settling down there. I need cardiac care and get good care at Alaska Heart. I know they have locations down in Soldotna and Homer. Has anyone used them? Your thoughts? How often do you still need to come up to Anchorage to see someone?

Have talked to some friends just looking for a broader opinion.

Thanks for your input!

Sassy

Central Peninsula is much more comprehensive than South Peninsula/Homer hospital. Still, many folks with emergency heart conditions are stabilized here then flown to Anchorage.

Probably a good idea to call the hospital and get more info about specific services.
