Annual high temperature:50.9°F
Annual low temperature:39.3°F
Average temperature:45.1°F
Average annual precipitation - rainfall:141.16 inches

That is one wet community for sure.

Indeed. Not sure of the source for info above, but according to this source it's even about 10% wetter than that.

Quite wet and cloudy just about everywhere in SE this summer. Looks like Anchorage has been too.

Right, it's a link, but was wondering of the source for their info. After a second look, it shows their number is based on data from 1981-2010, while mine is from 1910-2016.

I'd believe it. There is parts of the Olympic Peninsula that average about that much

Count your blessings, people! Undoubtedly you've heard about the forest fires in BC and California. The rain is a great blessing. It ensures your water supply to an extent, too. That's going to be a very precious commodity, in coming decades.

Forest fires are just part of nature. They happen. They need to happen to keep forests healthy.

Ah, Ketchikan has nothing on Texas rain wise . That sounds horrible though, as endless rain is my least favorite weather pattern. I believe my town average something like 12-13 inches of rain a year, which is plenty rainy enough for me. I can't find any website to give me a total for this year to date though.
