Nah, most of them have their shirts hanging out over their pants and such.

you tried to carry a 8 inch fixed blade knife aboard a plane, went thru a metal detector with it in security and you are posting to complain about TSA? concealed dirk is an automatic misdemeanor and you are publically complaining?
is this a joke?

Thats true. I have never come across this problem though.

I can't help it when he told me to take off my boots (which I had on for 4 hrs waiting to get in ) I asked him "are you sure" and he insisted I take them off and put them in this gray tub, so I did, and he picked them up and stuck his head inside to look, and dropped it and said "oh damn". I told him not too do that. That little fuzzy chinned goober didn't appreciate that I guess.
The flight was bad enough, stuffed in a cattle cart until the really nice lady next to me asked how was I doing. I told her just fine since Bartlett told me my herpes was in remision but I still had the clap, but going to Bellveau would get me a definite answer. For some reason I soon had all 3 seats to myself. Go figure.
And Bellvue ( how do you spell this damn place anyway) is bad enough. What's up with this town? It's just friggin weird.
And to think I gotta go thru all this crap to get back home. Will someone tell that boss of mine to get me a ferry ticket?
At least at the ferry they won't take me to a room to search all my clothes. ( and she wasn't that good looking either).
oh, and will someone please tell me since when is a 8 inch boot knife illegal????

Anybody dumb enough to stick their nose in someone's boot deserves to pay the consequences.

for what it's worth, I'm home now (thank god) and TSA in Seattle was a walk in the park. Very professional, but not irritating about it.

I hear ya--my last trip outside was awful too. I think I'm really socked in to life here; I felt very out of my element in many different ways. It felt awkward to be around traffic, lines of people, people who were moving very very fast and talking on Bluetooth---

I may not be able to function in Lower 48 anymore--what a shame!

Yeah, Seattle has by far the friendliest TSA agents of any major airport I have flown through.

I'm thinking they must import them from elsewhere because Seattlites on a whole are not very friendly.

I don't fly much, or go much of anywhere, but when I got back into Chicago from my Malaysia trip, it was not pleasant. There was a room of luggage, literally a sea of luggage, that I was supposed to entrust my luggage too. Miraculously, it managed to wind up in Milwaukee, just like it was supposed to. Because of my overdose of valium I take for my fear of flying, I was not in my right mind let's just say when I had to speak to the counter dude, or intake guy or whatever you call him. I had forgotten to sign my passport (who knows of these things??) & since I had my bag stolen by some skinny moped street urchin in Penang, I didn't have ID to prove it was me, although the picture certainly resembled me. So I stood arguing w/him & reiterating that I had my bag stolen so no, sorry I don't have anything w/my picture & a signature. After a few minutes of this, I convinced him I wasn't a terrorist, just a valiumed up chick looking to get back home to Milwaukee. Aggravating to say the least.
