I think this goes under "Things you won't see in the Promoting Alaska Brochure".

I'm coming to Alaska next week for 10 days and will be traveling around the state (making a giant loop). Will the mosquitos be bad throughout the entire state? I'll be in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Paxson, Valdez, Sutton and little towns in between. I haven't bought mosquito repellant yet either. I'll also be traveling via motorcycle and wonder if I'm going to get pelted with bugs. In Florida we have lovebug season in mid-May and it's disgusting when they hit you.
