Had some questions and knew this was the place to go!
My family had lived in McGrath, AK for a while and loved it, but moved to MT due the hubby's job. He now has an opportunity to put in for Valdez!
There are some things we are having to consider though. We have llamas and a few sheep and a goat. We would have housing set up for us there if he got the job, BUT we would need a place for the critters. A pasture to rent or a farm that would allow us to put them up.
Anybody have ideas on what we could do?
I would REALLY hate to leave them behind and break up the herd. My children would be so upset.
Not to mention ..ME!
There are 8 llamas, 3 sheep and a goat. We could rehome the sheep and goat if need be.
I spin with a spinning wheel and use the animals fiber for that. I'll post more questions as we get further into the move process if he gets it. We adore MT, but I think AK is calling us back!
