My family and I have been checking out Alaska via the internet and feel Ketchikan may be our choice. However I am stumped in regards to: BMW (Bears, Mosquitos, and Wolves)
We are a family of four, (husband, wife, and two teen age boys).....during our marriage we have lived near the coast in Oregon and Seattle, Washington, and also in rural North Central Idaho. We are on a fixed income and have done fine financially in these three locations. We are concerned with the higher cost of living in Ketchikan.
We do hiking and camping but want to be prepared for what Ketchikan area holds ....
I would REALLY appreciate any and all info re BMW, cost of living, or other info re KETCHIKAN.
